Walmart's Back-to-School SWARM Campaign
Overview
Walmart partnered with Wrapped Media to connect with students during the busy back-to-school season. The goal was to reach young audiences in authentic, high-energy environments where they were most engaged. To do this, we deployed a fleet of branded vehicles to SWARM major concerts and festivals across key markets.

Mountain Joe at the Calgary Stampede
Overview
Mountain Joe partnered with Wrapped Media to build awareness during one of Canada’s largest cultural events — the Calgary Stampede. With thousands of attendees flooding downtown Calgary each day, the Stampede provided the perfect backdrop for a high-energy brand activation.
Execution
- Targeting: Focused on Stampede crowds, including both locals and tourists, during peak attendance days.
- SWARM Activations:
- Branded vehicles strategically circulated around the Stampede grounds and entertainment districts.
- Vehicles were deployed during high-traffic windows (afternoon arrivals and evening departures).

Our SWARM events run anywhere from one hour to multiple days! We can build custom SWARM durations to meet your desired impact.
Wrapped provides sophisticated heatmap reporting that allows you to see exactly where the vehicles drove and how long they were there!
Generally speaking, large events work best (because more people will see your ad!). That being said, we always recommend aligning the event with your target consumer.
The short answer... both! In practice, vehicles convoy around a predetermined route, as well as park along that route if they see fit.
We suggest capping the number of vehicles to around 20!
For sure! We just need to confirm local bylaws/permits if you would like to offer product sampling.
